Job Summary
The Investment Strategy Analyst will provide analytical and operational support to the Chief Investment Officer. This role is critical in the development, execution, and ongoing refinement of investment strategy. The analysts' responsibilities include conducting research, evaluating financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with investment decision-making processes. This role ensures the organization's investment activities are aligned with its overall objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon. Overall, the Investment Strategy Analyst plays a critical role in enabling the CIO to make informed, strategic decisions that drive the organization's financial growth and stability, while also ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Financial and Market Analytics - Conduct in-depth financial and market research across asset classes, sectors, and regions to identify investment opportunities and risks. Develop, maintain, and refine financial models to forecast investment returns, cash flows, and risk exposures for existing and prospective investments. Prepare and present investment reports, summaries, and recommendations that synthesize complex data into actionable insights for the CIO and investment committees. Monitor and interpret macroeconomic indicators, market trends, and geopolitical events to evaluate their potential impact on portfolios and investment strategies.
• Portfolio Review and Reporting - Track portfolio performance and asset allocation, assisting in the construction, rebalancing, and risk management of investment portfolios. Support due diligence processes for new investments, including qualitative and quantitative assessments and comparative analysis. Maintain and update internal databases of financial, market, and industry data to ensure accuracy and accessibility for decision-making.
• Oversight and Regulatory Compliance - Stay current with financial regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all analyses and recommendations adhere to relevant standards. Collaborate with other investment professionals (portfolio managers, senior analysts) to discuss findings, share insights, and align on strategy
• Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions
• Analyzes and resolves problems pertaining to investment strategy
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
• Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum experience required: 4+ Years of experience in investment management, wealth management, or asset management, preferably within a Private Bank, Broker-Dealer or financial services firm.
• Strong understanding of economics, investment markets, portfolio construction, and capital markets.
• Demonstrated ability to independently conduct research and make actionable recommendations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FINRA, SEC, DOL) and operational frameworks for Private Banks.
• Excellent time management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) (Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) with a major of Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Business Management. CFA preferred but not required.
